Our Market Managers
LISA URRICO, BEACON FARMERS’ MARKET MANAGER
Lisa is a musician and arts administrator with 25 years’ experience working with prominent non-profit organizations including the Saint Louis Symphony and Carnegie Hall. She has produced a multitude of events ranging from intimate chamber ensemble concerts to large scale symphony orchestra performances. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in music from Boston University and a master’s degree from The Juilliard School. A few years ago, Lisa discovered rock climbing in the Gunks, fell in love with the Hudson Valley, and relocated to New Paltz, NY. Lisa is passionate about supporting our local farmers and businesses, ensuring that nutritious, quality food is available to all, and raising awareness on the impact our choices have on the environment.
ATTICUS LANIGAN, BEACON FARMERS' MARKET ASSISTANT MANAGER
Atticus brings a background in sociology, urban planning, non-profit administration, and business management to the Beacon Farmers Market. She has lived and/or been active in the City of Beacon since 2008, and believes wholeheartedly in the mission of the market and that of Common Ground Farm. She is an artist and the mother of two children. She is currently back to school, studying Biology.
Market Committee
The Beacon Farmers’ Market Committee is a group of local volunteers who support market decision making, planning, and development. This group is crucial to best represent our Beacon customer base, as well as provide advising and support to the Market Manager year-round.

Common Ground Farm
Since 2016, Common Ground Farm has stewarded the Beacon Farmers’ Market, bringing its mission of food justice and education to the heart of town. As Beacon's community farm project and long-time vendor, Common Ground works to develop the market as a vibrant and supportive marketplace for sustainable local farms and small businesses, as well as a valuable resource for all in the Beacon community.
