Larry Locust is the solo, song-writing project of life-long Hudson Valley local Kenny Hauptman. Packing up his suitcase of magnificent sounds, Larry presents vulnerable, folk-pop-tinged songs that wear their heart on their sleeve to his audiences. Combining post-rock, hip-hop and country/folk influences, his music seeks to offer a space for the listener to enjoy a moment of sincerity and honesty at times when we often feel obligated to compartmentalize our true emotions.
